Japan UK LIVE! is an educational project designed to encourage interaction between young people in the UK and Japan.

• Japan UK LIVE! is an extraordinary chance to exchange information first hand with each other without a language barrier.

• Government initiatives in both countries have highlighted the marvellous educational opportunities the internet can bring.

• Enhance the global dimension of your students' learning experience with this bilingual site.

• Japan UK LIVE! starts again on 6 May with a new programme running to March 2004. There will be five blocks of exchange: schools may take part throughout the project, or join in just for blocks convenient to them. See schedule for full details.

• Japan UK LIVE! is structured to allow students to share in a variety of mixed ability activities with students on the other side of the world. As well as talkboards on set topics, schools will have the opportunity to get involved in collaborative project work with partners on the site.
